Caught On Video: Fast Food Robbers Strike Again

Robbers Believed To Have Robbed 20 Restaurants Since January

All Restaurants In North Broward Area

BROWARD (CBS4) ― Two armed men, who have been terrorizing employees at fast food restaurants in North Broward for months, have struck again and now they've been caught on video.

The men most recently struck a Burger King at 2200 West Sample Road in Pompano Beach on Monday, May 5th but the surveillance video released Thursday is from the robbery of a McDonald's located at 300 West Hillsboro Blvd., in Deerfield Beach on April 27th.

The video, taken from the McDonald's surveillance system, shows the men rushing into the restaurant, holding terrified employees at gunpoint.

One of the suspects walks straight up to one of the women in the back office, and after noticing that she had the phone off the hook, the suspect presses the barrel of his gun up to her cheek and with it, pushes her head against a wall. The nervous woman then slowly threw herself to the floor and the suspects put their focus back on taking the cash.

The two suspects are described as black males, between 18-25 years-old, from 5'5" to 5'10" in height, weighing approximately 160 pounds.

They mostly dress with black shirts and either blue jeans or black pants, and disguise their faces.

BSO detectives say these two men are responsible for at least twenty fast food restaurant robberies in the last three months.

Anyone with information is asked to call BSO Robbery Detective Ben Koos at 954-321-4270, or Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS or www.browardcrimestoppers.org.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
