Feast With The Beasts Is Metrozoo Fundraiser

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) ― Miami Metrozoo is getting ready to transform the zoo for guests of its "Feast with the Beasts", the zoo's annual fundraiser.

"Feast with the Beasts" returns on Friday March 6, 2009 and will provide guests with terrific tastes from South Florida's finest restaurants, cocktails from open bars, wild animal encounters and thrilling music.

The gala Feast benefits the Zoological Society of Florida's education and conservation programs on behalf of Miami Metrozoo.

Guests roam the Zoo's pathways, while discovering delicious dishes from forty South Florida restaurants. While savoring the culinary delights, guests are treated to Brazilian and Latin music, drummers, Brazilian dancers and more surprises.

There are also full open bars, wild animal encounters, extravagant raffle prizes and a silent auction.

Tickets to the main event are $175, and special "Beastkeeper" VIP tickets are $500. The VIP tickets allow guests to enter the event an hour early and include access to VIP bars, jazz band performances and reserved seating where they can enjoy exclusive tastings from: Prime Blue Grille, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Smith & Wollensky, and The Forge.

There's complimentary valet parking for everyone.

After all the wining and dining, every guest is invited to Ron Magill's Spectacular Dance After Party from 10:00 until midnight featuring belly dancers, fire breathers and a DJ.

On the night of the event, raffle tickets will be available for those who purchase an exclusive refillable Zootini glass for $50. The grand prize is a four day cruise for two in the owner's 1,000 square foot suite on Carnival Cruise Lines.
