Hialeah Carjacking Chase Ends In Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS (CBS4) ― Two officers collided during a short chase in Miami Gardens Thursday night, as they tried to catch up to carjacking suspects who allegedly stole a car in Hialeah.

Miami-Dade Police, along with Hialeah Police, surrounded a perimeter looking for armed carjackers who took a car in Hialeah earlier in the evening. The suspects pistol whipped the victim and took his Dark Blue Dodge from an unreported location. When officers spotted the suspect car, a short chase took place and ended in the area of NW 161 Street, east of 57th Avenue.  

The four men bailed out on foot at that location. All suspects have been reportedly arrested since.

The two officers collided in the are of NW 163rd Street and 57th Avenue. Police have not confirmed if they were injured.
