"Red Sox" Tattoo Led To Serial Bank Robber Arrest

CORAL GABLES (CBS4) ― A "Red Sox" tattoo on the back of his neck was the clue used to capture a serial bank robber  involved in over a dozen bank heists in South Florida.

According to Coral Gables and Hialeah police departments on Friday, the suspect, James Olliverre, committed an armed robbery on December 18, 2007, at the Washington Mutual bank branch located at 1465 W 49 St., Hialeah.

Olliverre, according to police, fled from the robbery with several hundred dollars in hand.  He's also wanted in Coral Gables in connection with as many as seven bank robberies in its city.

Detectives said they caught Olliverre at SW 34 Ct. and 27th St. in Miami, and that he'll face several counts of armed robbery.
