Gunman Makes Super-Sized Heist At McDonald's

MIAMI (CBS4) ―

A robber was definitely "loving it" when he raided a Miami-Dade McDonalds Monday.

Police say the suspect broke through the glass window of the NW 92nd Street and 7th Avenue location in Miami around 4:00 a.m.  Once inside, the gunman held up two employees, demanded money and took off.

Police say the robber took about $14-thousand cash, but luckily the two victims involved were not harmed.

Victims described the suspect as a stocky male, standing between 5'6 to 5'9 inches tall, dressed in a dark long sleeve shirt and pants and wearing a ski mask.  Police say he was also armed with a handgun.

If you have any information on this incident or of the whereabouts of the suspect, please call Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
