MDFR Takes Budget Cuts Battle Online

DORAL (CBS4) ― Miami-Dade Firefighters are taking their battle against budget cuts online.

The firefighter's union has set up a YouTube video and a website with a message that opposes more budget cuts to the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department. Their department gets funding from a special property tax, but firefighters say tax cuts and declining property values have hit them hard.

County commissioners will be holding special hearings on the budget later this month.
