Masked Armed Bandit Robs Beauty Supply Store

NORTH MIAMI (CBS4) ― The North Miami Police Department has released surveillance pictures taken of an armed robber in action.

According to police, a man armed with a silver handgun walked into the Diamond Beauty Supply store, located at 14135 NW 7th Avenue on Tuesday, June 23rd and demanded money from the cash registers.

The store employee gave the gunman the money and he ran out of the store.

There were customers in the store when the armed robbery took place but nobody was hurt.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'5", 140 pounds, armed with a silver handgun. He was last seen wearing a blue, white and red hooded jacket, black baggy pants, maroon cap, black bandanna covering his face and blue latex gloves.
