Gas Station Car Wash Catches On Fire

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) ― Another fire broke out at a South Florida gas station within a 48 hour period Monday night, and it was also caught on camera.

CBS4 Reporter Michael Williams and his crew were driving by the Shell gas station at 575 NW 103 Street in Northwest Miami-Dade, when they noticed the smoke coming from there. They called 911 for help and got close enough to shoot video of the fire, which was coming from the automatic car wash. The building that encloses the car wash was fully involved in flames.

Luckily Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews managed to contain the fire from spreading to nearby fire pumps.

No one was injured.

On Sunday a pick-up truck slammed into a gas pump at a Ft. Lauderdale gas station, leaving people injured and a fiery explosion behind.
