Hialeah police are asking for the public's help in locating two armed robbery suspects wanted in connection with the robbery of a Home Depot Store, which was caught on surveillance video.
Police say on May 8th, around 1:00 a.m., three disguised men robbed the Home Depot located at 950 SE 12 Street.
The three heavily armed suspects, one with a shotgun and the other two with handguns, entered the store through the lumber department's roll up door, while a fourth suspect waited outside in a getaway car.
The suspects tracked down the night manager and forced him, at gun point, to open up the money vault. The armed men then left the store through the same lumber department door with thousands of dollars in cash.
An alert Hialeah Police Officer spotted the getaway vehicle and pursued it into the Miami Gardens area. The suspects then abandoned their vehicle and ran from police on foot.
After an extensive investigation, Hialeah Robbery Detectives were able to identify all four suspects and arrest two of them.
Eugene Hicks and Anthony Thomas, both 23, have been charged with Armed Robbery.
The suspects still at large are Peter Binnis, 19, and Craig Davis, 22. Binnis is wanted on the Armed Robbery charge and Davis is wanted on both an Armed Robbery Charge and also Attempted Murder.
Police say Binnis and Davis should be considered armed and dangerous.
