Accident At Rapids Water Park Leaves 4 Injured

RIVIERA BEACH (CBS4) ― An accident at the Rapids Water Park in Palm Beach County, left four people injured on Wednesday.

Riveria Beach spokesman Rose Anne Brown said the injuries were not life-threatening. She said the people were injured on Wednesday at the Rapids Water Park.

Rescuers say the accident happened on the Black Thunder raft ride. It was unclear how it occurred.

Columbia Hospital spokeswoman Jean Wicken says two children were sent to St. Mary's Medical Center, while a man was being kept at the hospital overnight for observation and a teenager was discharged.

The park's voicemail was full Wednesday afternoon.
