Half Dozen Arrests During MDPD Sex Predator Sweep

MIAMI (CBS4) ― At least six people were jailed overnight after being rounded up in a Miami-Dade County Police sex predator sweept.

CBS4 rode along with officers overnight as they checked on the locations of sex offenders.

Officers were looking for individuals who moved and did not register their new addresses in compliance with the Jessica Lunsford Act.

The Jessica Lunsford Act makes it mandatory for registered sexual predators and offenders to report their address at least once a year.
