Indulge For Less During Spa Week

Spa Treatments Cost $50

Runs Through Sunday April 20, 2008

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Are you feeling tired, stressed out or just plain pooped? It might be time to indulge yourself in a luxurious spa treatment but if you're worried it'll take your entire tax refund to bankroll a full lineup of professional primping then think again.

That's because it's Spa Week, a yearly celebration of soaks, scrubs, wax and masques, at bargain basement prices.

Spa Week runs through Sunday and features top spas delivering full service treatments that normally cost from $100 to $200 for just $50.

More than 400 spas across the nation participate in Spa Week including several in South Florida.

Participating spas where you can indulge in South Florida:
  • Acqualina & ESPA Spa (Sunny Isles)
  • Aquagene Spa at Doubletree Ocean Point Resort & Spa (Miami Beach)
  • Contour Day Spa (Plantation)
  • Contour Day Spa at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (Hollywood)
  • Honeydoo Salon & Spa (Miami Beach)
  • Laser Cosmetica (Miami Beach)
  • Red Door Lifestyle Spa (Weston)
  • Red Door Spa (Fort Lauderdale)
  • Spa V at The Hotel Victor (Miami Beach)
  • Uhma Spa & Shop (Miami Beach)

The creators of Spa Week say spa treatments aren't just about indulgence but are quickly becoming a necessity. It's all about preventive medicine in order to keep you out of the doctor's office.

So with the price of a treatment $50, the feeling of ultimate relaxation and knowledge that you're doing something good for yourself, that's priceless.

Don't forget to make a reservation.

A portion of all Spa Week proceeds benefit Cancer and Careers, a non-profit organization for working women with cancer.
