Salvation Army Serves Up Meals For Those In Need
The
Salvation Army of Broward County continued to serve up its tradition of dishing out delicious Thanksgiving meals to homeless individuals, families, and people in need on Thursday.
Volunteers were hard at work early Thursday morning, prepping all the food and turkey being served to about 400 people. The food was donated and provided by the
Cheesecake Factory. This is the third year in a row that the Cheesecake Factory has shared Thanksgiving with the Salvation Army.
In addition to all the delicious food, there was music, love and plenty of cheesecake for dessert. Managers and staff of the Cheesecake Factory served the meal to the hundreds of truly grateful guests.
The Salvation Army of Broward County provides a range of social services to more than 37,000 individuals and families every year.
