The former Broward County judge who presided in the dispute over Anna Nicole Smith's remains has been cleared of any wrongdoing, after allegations that he accepted bribes.
The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office announced the results of their investigation on Tuesday. Judge Larry Seidlin is best known for his emotional displays while presiding over the debate on where to bury Anna Nicole Smith's body that year.
The Broward State Attorney's Office said it received a complaint last year from a lawyer who said Seidlin had solicited gifts from another attorney who represented clients in his court.
The issue has been referred to the independent agency that looks into alleged misconduct by judges.
Seidlin retired in 2007.
