Armed Robber Seen Clearly On Surveillance Video

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Miami-Dade Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a check cashing store on SW 40 Street in Miami on Monday, November 2.

The man was caught on surveillance video entering the store while speaking on a cell phone. After hanging up the phone, he approached the counter where 29-year-old Carmen Jurado was working.

The robber pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register. Jurado handed over cash; the robber took the money and fled on foot.

The robber is described as being in his 20s. He stood about 6 foot, 4 inches tall and weighed around 160 pounds.
