Police Investigate Stabbing & Armed Robbery
HIALEAH (CBS4) ―
Miami-Dade Police are investigating an armed robbery that sent a 29-year-old man to the hospital.
A concert was being held at a park on East 65th Street in Hialeah Sunday evening when police were called about a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers learned two performers had been stabbed.
One victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he is in stable condition. The second victim refused to be treated by Fire-Rescue workers.
An argument reportedly broke out between the two victims and approximately ten other Latin males. At least one suspect pulled out a metallic weapon, possibly a knife, and stabbed both victims. During the fight, one or more of the suspects took jewelry from the victim and fled the scene.
Police are interviewing witnesses to determine if anybody will be charged.
