Obama's Friday Miami Rally "Sold Out"

MIAMI (CBS4) ― As of Thursday evening, there are no more tickets available to Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama's Miami Rally.

Barack Obama will hold a Woman's Rally for the Change We Need at the University of Miami in Coral Gables Friday early afternoon. The Rally will be held at the BankUnited Center. The doors open at 9:30 a.m., and the program is scheduled to begin just before noon.

The even is free and open to the public; however, those who wished for a seat had to sign up online for a free ticket. Those tickets have all been claimed.

"As we stand at a pivotal moment in our history, Senator Obama is the only candidate who truly understands the hopes and dreams of everyday Floridians," Florida State Director Steve Schale said in a press release. "…Barack Obama, as our President, will stand strong for Florida's middle class families by supporting a National Catastrophic Insurance fund, which would stabilize the insurance market, real tax cuts for 8.7 million Floridians…"

Barack Obama will also hold a fundraiser Friday evening.  The closed-door event will be at 7 p.m. at the Biltmore in Coral Gables.

Senator Obama will also be in the Sunshine state on Saturday. He plans to campaign in the Jacksonville area on September 20.
