Woman Charged After 4 Marriages, No Divorces

Bond Set At $15-Thousand For Eurice Rodriguez

HIALEAH (CBS4) ― A South Florida woman has been arrested and charged with bigamy after marrying four men in seven months and never divorcing a single one.

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents arrested 46-year old Eurice Rodriguez, a Cuban National who lived in Hialeah, on Monday and charged her with three counts of bigamy.

According to court documents, on January 9th, 2006 Rodriguez marries Alcides Orozco. A little more than 3 months later while still married to Orozco, Rodriguez married Nestor Angel Sacco on April 14th, according to a Certificate of Marriage filed with the Miami Dade Clerk of Court.

Sacco would eventually apply for and receive a divorce in November, 2006.

In May, Rodriguez, who was still married to Orozco and Sacco, married Ivan Quintero.

Three months later Rodriguez married a fourth man, Hector Angel Sierra, on August 26th. Sierra filed for and a received a divorce from Rodriguez in August, 2007.

Bond was set at $15-thousand for Rodriguez who is currently unemployed.

Marrying illegal immigrants for money was a family affair for members of the Rodriguez clan.

Two other members of her family were also charged this week; one allegedly had 12 illegal marriages.

Two others were charged last year. They are awaiting trial.
