Body Found Floating In Davie Canal

Davie police are investigating the discovery of a body in a Davie canal.

Davie Police Department Dive team and Criminal investigation Unit were called to the canal off Southwest 30th street and Pine Island Road Saturday afternoon.  

Investigators said they are looking into a possible connection with a van parked nearby with the keys left on the seat. The driver was said to have gone fishing Friday.
