3 In Custody After Police Involved Shooting

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Three suspects were taken into custody by police after a robbery at an Autozone in NW Miami Tuesday evening. The store is located in the area of NW 52nd Street and NW 2nd Avenue.

Chopper 4 showed one of the suspects lying in the street in police restraints, bleeding onto the pavement. Miami Fire Rescue paramedics took him to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police initially arrested one man near the store. The other two suspects were confronted by police in a vehicle. Miami Police confirm they shot one of the suspects in the hip. They haven't said if the subjects fired at police.

Police set up a perimeter around the neighborhood and began a yard-to-yard search, including the use of helicopters, before all three suspects were taken into custody.
