Coral Springs Man Accused Of Credit Fraud

CORAL SPRINGS (CBS4) ― A Coral Springs man is accused of racking up more than a $100-thousand in fraudulent charges after he allegedly stole credit card numbers from customers at a Tamarac restaurant.

According to federal investigators Bruce Horner also deposited bad checks totaling more than $4 million into his bank account between March 2007 and February 2008. He was able to withdraw about $400-thousand before bank officials caught on to the alleged scam.

Prosecutors think Horner took credit card numbers from customers at Wat a Lunch n More in Tamarac, a restaurant he sold in May 2007.
