'Burn Notice' Filming To Cause Road Closures
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
The cast and crew of Burn Notice will be filming from Monday through Wednesday creating closures in parts of Northwest 17th Avenue between 16th Street and 19th Terrace.
Those intersections will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. The closures will continue on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at NW 17th Ave. between NW 16th St. and NW 19th St. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. between NW 16th Terr. And NW 19th St.
Finally, drivers should avoid NW 17th Ave. between 17th St. and 19th Terr. Wednesday
All stores and businesses will be open regular hours along NW 17th Avenue, according to the City of Miami. Sidewalks will be kept open during non-film takes for patrons to access merchants. Miami police officers will be on-site to assist and guide vehicular traffic through the detour along NW 15th Avenue to the East and NW 18th Avenue to the West. The north and south detours will start at about NW 16 St. and go no further than NW 19 Terrace.
