These men are seen on surveillance video entering a Hollywood store shortly before a taxi driver was shot and killed.
A manhunt is underway in Hollywood for a cabbie killer. The story is becoming all too familiar as police investigate four cab drivers killed in the last six months.
The latest murder was early Friday morning. Just after five in the morning, two men walked into the Mid-Way Food Store in Hollywood. They were seen getting into a cab just moments before 62-year-old Rosario Esposito was shot dead near Madison Street and Pembroke Road. Residents who live nearby heard three gunshots.
CBS4 was told the Esposito was from Italy. He'd worked for Friendly Checker Cab for three years.
"You really have to be careful who you pick up," cab driver Mohammad Khan tells
CBS4 Reporter Carey Codd, "You cannot refuse the fare. And once you get the fare, sometimes you feel very scared and you can't get them out of your cab and once help has arrived, it's already too late."
Hollywood police released surveillance video on Friday afternoon. They hope the video will lead people to call in tips.
If you have any information or recognize the people in the video, contact Broward County Crimestoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
