Coast Guard Searching For Missing Cruise Worker

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ― The Coast Guard station on Miami Beach has sent a patrol boat out to search for a crewman who may have fallen off a cruise ship.

The crewman vanished from the "Celebrity Constellation" about 40 miles due east of Ft. Lauderdale.   The ship docked at Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale early Monday morning.  The Coast Guard has not confirmed whether the man actually went overboard, only that he is missing. They expect to release more information once Coast Guard air and sea search personnel have scoured the water off Fort Lauderdale and talked with cruise ship personnel.
