Free Miami Clinic To Lessen Your Financial Woes

MIAMI (CBS4) ― The City of Miami ACCESS Miami Program is co-sponsoring and bringing in a free financial planning clinic on Saturday  from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Miami Convention Center, 400 SE 2nd Ave.
The clinic will provide tables manned by dozens of trained certified financial planners  who can answer questions and offer a free informal, one-on-one conversation.
 
Topics include retirement planning, tax reduction strategies, college education financing, investment strategies, estate planning, insurance planning.

The clinic will have a dozen educational workshops on topics such as managing debt from credit cards to foreclosures, launching a financial plan for young professionals, financial planning for special needs families. Select workshops will be offered in Spanish.

The Miami Financial Planning Clinic follows the successes of Financial Planning Clinics held in Boston, Los Angeles and Washington, DC, where thousands of consumers received free financial information from hundreds of volunteer  professionals.
