Police Hunt Sadistic Father Who Tortured Son
Brown is 5'09", weighs between 170-180 pounds, and has short hair, with possibly some braids

Miami Police continue to look for a man they say tortured his 12-year-old son in Overtown earlier this month.
Police say 27-year-old Cedrick Brown beat his son by pouncing on him, and hitting him with a belt and stick, but that's not all. Brown allegedly stripped his son naked and sat on top of him so he couldn't move and beat him while he waited for an electric iron to heat up.
He then pressed the iron repeatedly against his body causing severe burns. Investigators say Brown's abuse was sadistic.
"He applied that hot iron, when it was hot enough, to this kids flesh, over and over again, saying 'no only am I going to do this, I'm might even castrate you," said Miami police spokesman Delrish Moss. "
Lt. Delrish Moss of Miami Police said investigators are stunned to hear what the child had to say about the child abuse.
"He said something that really stuck out to the detectives," said Moss. "They asked him how he reacted to everything, and he said 'I took it like a man."
Brown is 5'09", weighs between 170-180 pounds, and has short hair, with possibly some braids. The crime occurred at an apartment located at 275 NW 10th Street. Brown had just been released from prison on March 17th.
The motive for the beating, police say, was because his son had misbehaved at school.
"I was really shocked, to be honest with you I've never seen something like that to happen to any child," said Christina Bailey a neighbor.
Annette Brown, the boy's grandmother, was also arrested and charged with child neglect because police say she knew about the torture and did not report it. She has since posted bond and was released from jail.
