Children's Trust Heart Gallery - Felicity
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
Do you have room in your home and in your heart for a child? CBS4 has teamed up with the Children's Trust Heart Gallery to try and find loving homes for foster children.
In her latest installment,
CBS4's Shannon Hori wants you to meet 9-year old Felicity. When Shannon met her, she was making her own Build-A-Bear teddy bear. Felicity's never had her own teddy bear.
Choosing it was easy. "It's furry. It's pretty," said Felicity.
After spending just a short time with Felicity, Shannon soon found out that she's smart and listens very well.
She also has a big heart and came up with this wish for her bear. "I wish I never lose it. I wish I could have it for a long, long time," said Felicity.
She also made a wish for herself.
"I wish I had a family. For my bear and I," said Felicity.
Felicity's not shy and she had a great time choosing a very trendy, and pink, outfit for her bear.
"I love this T-shirt," said Felicity. Why did you choose this," asked Shannon? "Because it looked special on her. When she goes out she can have something to wear," said Felicity.
Felicity said she loves school, especially math and reading.
When Shannon sat down for the interview she did something no one else she's ever interviewed has done on camera. She yawned.
"Am I keeping you up," asked Shannon? No," said Felicity.
Felicity is hoping she's adopted and if she could build her own family what would she want?
"To be friendly, to be friendly. And to have fun," said Felicity.
"Thank you so much. Can you give her a hug," asked Shannon? I absolutely can give her a hug. DId you get a good shot," asked Felicity?
