Teacher Arrrested For Alleged Affair With Student

Christine Jouini Alleged To Have Sex With 16-Year-Old Student

MARGATE, Fla. (CBS4) ― Police say a female teacher at the Center Academy in Coral Springs was arrested on Friday for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old male student.

The teacher, 38-year-old Christine Jouini of Margate, faces three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.  The alleged sexual relationship took place between August 2006 and September 2007.

Detectives began an investigation after the alleged victim told another teacher he had a past sexual relationship with Jouini. The student told investigators he had sex with Jouini on multiple occasions both at her home and other locations off of school grounds.

Jouini surrendered herself to the Margate Police Department without incident on Friday.
