Teacher Arrested For Sending Nude Pictures To Teen

Teacher Christy Martin, 32, is accused of sending nude pictures of herself to a teenage boy.

A St. Petersburg teacher was arrested over the weekend for allegedly sending nude pictures of herself to a teenage boy.
Christy Lynn Martin, 32, was arrested Saturday and charged with transmitting pornographic images through an electronic device and transmitting material harmful to a minor. Investigators said Martin admitted to sending the pictures to the boy's cell phone. She was released after posting a bail of $20 thousand the next day.
St. Petersburg police spokesman Bill Profitt said the 14-year old boy told investigators that he and Martin had a relationship. The boy, who attends Azalea Middle School where Martin taught, was not a student in any of her classes. It was the boy's mother who found the pictures and called police.
