Coral Springs Mother Sentenced On Sex Abuse Charge

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) ― A Broward County substitute teacher has been sentence to 2 1/2 years of house arrest and 12 years of probation after she pleaded no contest to having sex with a 17-year old boy.

46-year old Deborah Reeder of Coral Springs was arrested in 2006 for allegedly having sex with the boy, who was a friend of her son's.

Terms of her sentencing also stipulate that the mother of three must complete sex offender counseling and can't have contact with the victim.

Reeder will also not be allowed to have unsupervised contact with males between the ages of 14 and 17 who are not members of her family.
