Cuban Refugees Taken Into Custody Near Seaquarium

KEY BISCAYNE (CBS4) ― The search is on for several Cuban refugees who came ashore on Key Biscayne late Tuesday evening.

Key Biscayne police officers were able to round up 2 of the group and held them in their police car until agents from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol could take custody of them.

The refugees reportedly landed across the street from the Miami Seaquarium. Police and Border Patrol agents are now searching the surrounding area for the rest of the group.
