Stage Set For Fantasy Fest Halloween Parade

The 30th Annual Key West Fantasy Fest continued late Friday night with a masquerade march that started at a local cemetery. Thousands of revelers are in Key West for the 10-day costume and making festival. More than 40 events with the theme of "Villains, Vixens, and Vampires," are part of this year's Fantasy Fest.
Friday's Masquerade March drew a cavalcade of costumed characters showing off their inner vixens, vampires, and villains. Bands helped the marchers move along two routes as the masqueraders stopped for cocktails at bed-and-breakfast inns along the way.
Saturday night will be the highlight event of Fantasy Fest. A Halloween night parade will feature elaborately decorated floats, costumed marching groups, and island-style bands. This year's grand marshal is three-time Playboy cover model Bridget Marquardt. The busty model has also starred on television in "The Girls Next Door" and "Bridget's Sexiest Beaches."
The Saturday night parade will start at 7 p.m. and move down Whitehead and Duval Street in front of upwards of 60,000 partygoers.
