Villains, vixens and vampires walked through Key West Saturday night as Fantasy Fest wrapped up its 10-day event with Playboy model and television personality Bridget Marquardt.
The three-time Playboy magazine cover model and star in the reality show "The Girls Next Door" served as Grand Marshal during Saturday night's parade that included 50 decorated floats, bands and marching groups.
Marquardt dressed up as a vampire bat perched in a tree looming over a haunted graveyard.
"I love Halloween and I love being spooky, so being here with thousands of people all dressed up and celebrating the holiday is a fantasy come true for me," Marquardt said.
The most head-turning floats included one which featured a sculpted witch's head that rose more than 30 feet into the air complete with a mob of zombies and a castle full of Draculas dancing to the disco beats.
Many costumed spectators were inspired by recent headlines including dressing up as the H1N1 vaccine or the late King of Pop Michael Jackson.
And while Fantasy Fest organizers are wrapping up yet another street party, the theme and dates have already been selected for next year's party.
Fanatasy Fest 2010's theme will be "Habitat For Insanity" with the scheduled dates from October 22 to 31st.
