Injuries And Burns Reported During Fireworks Show
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (CBS4) ―
Officials in Altamonte Springs reported they handled 27 reports of various medical problems at the Red, Hot & Boom fireworks show on Friday night. Problems included injuries, heat exhaustion, or dehydration.
One woman was reportedly burned when a stray firework landed in the crowd, according to Seminole County Fire Department Lt. David Williams.
The crowd for the fireworks show in Central Florida was estimated to be around 165,000.
