One Florida Ticket Wins $189 Million Powerball

Florida Powerball Jackpot - $20 Million

TALLAHASSEE (CBS4) ― For the first time, someone in Florida has won the Powerball lottery game. One ticket, sold at a Chevron Food Mart in Orlando, matched all five numbers and the Powerball number to win the $189 million dollar prize. Though the advertised jackpot was an estimated $193 million, Powerball jackpot prize payouts are based on actual sales for that drawing.

The winning numbers were 12-24-48-50-57 and the Powerball number was 22.

Since there was a winner, the jackpot will be reset to $20 million for this Wednesday's drawing.

In the Florida Lotto, no ticket matched all six numbers to win the $7 million jackpot. 

 

The winning numbers were 8-17-18-21-32-42.

 

Sixty one tickets matched five numbers to win $4,449.00 each; 3,441 tickets matched four numbers for $64.00 each; and 67,639 tickets matched three numbers for $4.50 each.



The jackpot for this Wednesday's drawing will be set at $9 million for a $1 ticket.  Players who purchase a $2 ticket could win $19 million; a $3 ticket could win $34 million.
