No More Free Beer Samples At Busch Theme Parks
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
The free beer samples at Anheuser-Busch theme parks finally ran dry after the brewer decided to end the program. The move impacts all of the company's theme parks and all three Sea World locations.
The brewer said it plans to build restaurants or other food-related venues which have a broader appeal to children and families. "People who like beer and the hospitality of those facilities might be disappointed. This (free beer samples) was something that had pretty narrow appeal. We are looking into something that had broader appeal," said vice-president of communications for Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks.
The brewer, which was purchased by InBev over the summer, owns SeaWorld theme parks in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego, along with Busch Gardens parks in Tampa and Williamsburg, Va.
