Woman Duped By Diaper Wearing Craiglist Dude
MELBOURNE (CBS4) ―
A Central Florida woman claims she was duped into changing a man's diapers and bottle feeding him for three months. Now she wants him arrested but police say there is not much they can do.
Janet Schulte of Melbourne said she met the man when she answered a Craigslist ad for someone to look after an adult with disabilities. Turns out the man who hired Schulte to look after his "adult brother with diminished mental capacity" was the same guy she bottle-fed and treated like a child for 3 months. Schulte said he never broke character, and on the phone always gave an excuse when she tried to meet his "brother."
After a while Schulte and her husband got suspicious and found the man out after subtle behavior changes and a few late payments. They contacted police but were told though he lied, the man's actions didn't constitute a crime since she was paid $600 weekly for her services.
