Traffic Detours For Miami-Dade Road Construction

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Due to demolition work being done for the 95 Express Project, several major ramps and travel lanes will be closed from Friday through Sunday. 

The ramp connecting southbound I-95 to eastbound I-195, the Julia Tuttle Causeway, will be closed to all traffic from 11 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday and again from 11 p.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday. 

In addition, I-195, the Julia Tuttle Causeway, will be closed to all traffic in both directions, in the vicinity of I-95 from 11 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday. 

A portion of Florida's Turnpike in Miami-Dade will be closed for up to three nights starting Jan. 12th  while workers install new electronic message signs. 

All northbound and southbound lanes between SW 8th Street/Tamiami Trail and NW 12th Street will be closed from 9 p.m. on Jan. 12 until 5 a.m. on Jan. 13th.

Also, that section of the turnpike could be closed to northbound and southbound traffic on Jan. 13 through 14 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Detours will be set up in all the areas affected by the closures.
