Woman Freed From Rollover Wreck

The Accident Shutdown All Lanes Of The Don Shula In Kendall

KENDALL (CBS4) ― It was a race against time as Miami Dade Fire Rescue firefighters worked to free a woman trapped who was trapped when her car flipped on Don Shula Expressway at SW 104th Street in Kendall.

All lanes were temporarily shutdown just after noon.

Using the Jaws of Life, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews were able to free the woman from the wreckage just before 2 p.m. She was then wheeled on a gurney to a waiting air rescue chopper which flew her to the hospital.

No word on the woman's condition. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
