Rescued Manatee To Be Returned To The Wild
NORTH PALM BEACH (CBS4) ―
It's a big day for a young manatee which was rescued from a private golf course in North Palm Beach several months.
After being nursed back to health at the Miami Seaquarium, it will be released Monday afternoon at John D. MacArthur State Park.
The underweight male manatee was found last February in a pond at the golf course suffering from cold-stress. After several months of monitoring and rehab, biologists deemed it was fit to be returned to the wild.
