Miami Children's Hospital Named One Of The Best
Parent's Magazine Ranked It 26th In Nation
Top Progams For Pediatrics

Miami Children's Hospital has been named one of the best hospitals in the country for kids, according to Parents magazine.
In order to be considered for ranking, hospitals from across the nation were asked to complete a comprehensive survey developed by Parents magazine. The 250-question survey requested information related to survival rates, numbers of complex procedures performed, research studies, staff qualifications, safeguards to prevent medical errors and more.
Miami Children's Hospital was ranked #26 in both 2009 and in 2007 when the last survey was published. The Best Childrens Hospitals survey is conducted and released every two years. Miami Children's Hospital was the only Florida hospital to make the 2009 list.

Founded in 1950 by Variety Clubs International, Miami Children's Hospital is South Florida's only licensed specialty hospital exclusively for children, with more than 650 attending physicians and over 130 pediatric sub-specialists. Several of the hospital's specialty programs were ranked among the best in the nation in 2008 by U.S. News & World Report.
