Former Miami Mayor Has A Run In With Divorce Judge

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Former Miami Mayor Joe Carollo certainly did not need any introductions to the man who ran a stop sign and crashed into his car Wednesday morning – it was the judge handing his divorce case.

Our news partners at the Miami Herald report Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Paul Siegel was heading north on Northwest 13th Street when he ran a stop sign at North Miami Avenue and crashed into Carollo's car. Miami Police cited the judge with going through the stop sign. Both vehicles suffered minor damage and neither man was seriously injured.

Carollo's divorce case began in 2000. The Miami Herald reports court records show the last action in the case was on Thursday, when a mediator's report determined the two parties had not yet reached an agreement in the case.
