House Goes Up In Flames Across From High School

Cause Of The Fire Is Under Investigation

PINECREST (CBS4) ― Some students on their way to class at Miami Palmetto Senior High in Pinecrest had to take a slight detour as Miami Dade firefighters battled a house fire down the street from the school.

Miami Dade Fire Rescue said the home at 7625 Southwest 118th Street was unoccupied at the time of the fire around 6 a.m. Thursday morning. The school is located at 7460 Southwest 118th Street.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
