Police Searching For Witnesses To Teen's Murder

Police Say The Have No Leads Or Motive In Teen's Murder

MIAMI (CBS4) ― Miami police are gathering evidence and looking for more witnesses in an effort to catch a teen's killer.

The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 17-hundred block of Northwest 47th Terrace. When officers arrived they found the body of a 16-year old boy who had been shot several times in the backyard of one of the homes on the block.

Investigators say after the shooting some of the people who had been in the backyard took off. Police are now trying to identify and contact those individuals to find out what may have led to the teen's murder. At this time, investigators say they have no leads and no motive in the teen's death.
