Monorail Driver Offers Condolences To Victim

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS4) ― The driver of one of the trains involved in a monorail collision at Walt Disney World issued a statement that gave his condolences to the family of Austin Wuennenberg, who was operating the other train. Wuennenberg died from the injuries suffered during the accident.

62-year-old Alan Rubino issued the statement through another part-time monorail operator, Dennis Pickering. The statement said Rubino, "wished to extend to the family and friends of Austin, his deepest condolences."

Pickering also said it would be inappropriate for Rubino to comment any further due to the investigation.
