A 51-Year-Old Woman Died On The Scene, Police Said.

Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS.

MIAMI (CBS4) ―

A mother of three killed on Mother's Day was laid to rest Monday morning. 51-year-old Patricia Floyd died in a car crash that was caused by the driver of a stolen truck; her 17-year-old son was also hurt in the accident.

Willie Bradley shed tears as she expressed her shock at finding out her grandchild had been injured and his mother killed in Sunday's accident.

"She's a beautiful person," said Willie Bradley. "She was, in fact, helping out a lady who's mother had died about six months ago."

Police said the tragedy began when two men stole a Gold Coast Crane Service truck and were speeding northbound on Northwest 12th Avenue before they crashed into three cars that were heading southbound.

"Shocked, hurt, I had just talked to Patricia Friday," said Bradley. "She had come by the house and Jose was going to the prom Saturday."

Both suspects are still on the run. Police said one the man had a goatee, a short afro, and was wearing a white shirt. He was also seen walking with a limp.

The other man was wearing a gray tank top and investigators said he had a red tattoo.

"I'm going to miss our daily talks," explained Bradley. She hopes the men will come forward. "By turning themselves in and doing the right thing, you know that was terrible to do that and then to leave the scene."

If you have any information regarding the incident please call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
