Things are heating up on the Oprah Winfrey show Friday afternoon. The talk show queen is wrapping up her "Best Life Week" with a steamy conversation about love, relationships and sex.
Oprah's "Best Life Week" ends with an emphasis on taking care of the ones we love.
"You can't make a plan to live a happier more fulfilled life in the New Year without including all the people around you your kids, your parents, your friends your husband. And who doesn't want to have more sex or better sex," said Winfrey.
Sex expert Dr. Laura Berman says couples make a common mistake.
"I think with all couples the biggest mistake is withholding their truth from one another. Each withhold that you have creates one more brick in that wall between you and your partner's intimacy," warned Berman.
She has some great advice on how to better nurture the relationships that keep us happy and healthy.
"If you just start looking at your partner instead of seeing what they're doing wrong look at what they're doing right. Give them expressions of thanks and appreciation for the little things they're doing that they're supposed to do. And you'll realize how your mind will start to shift and their behavior will start to shift," explained Berman.
Trying new things can also help shift behavior in the bedroom.
"So that may mean going on a roller coaster ride or trying to rock climb or trying something new together will not only create more bonding between you but get that libido firing as well," admitted Berman.
