The Southbound Lanes Will Be Closed From 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday And Wednesday
Will Affect Drivers Traveling From Coral Way To Bird Road
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
Motorists should avoid the southbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway (S.R. 826) as the lanes will be closed to make room for a new pedestrian bridge beam.
The southbound lanes from SW 24th Street/ Coral Way to SW 40th Street/Bird Road will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30th and on Wednesday, July 1st.
During the closure, drivers will be detoured to the following routes:
If you're traveling south on S.R. 826, exit at Coral Way and travel west on Coral Way and south on SW 87th Ave. Then, travel east toward Bird Road where drivers may access the southbound S.R. 826 ramp.
If you're driving east on Coral Way, exit east on Coral Way, south on SW 67th Avenue and then travel west on Bird Road to access the southbound lanes of S.R. 826.
