"Qwitter" Helps You Fight The Craving

If you want help to quit smoking "Qwitter" can help you. Florida lawmakers have launched an online service called "Qwitter" that lets you update friends on your progress to being smoke free.
The state has $57.9 million to spend on anti-smoking efforts this year. Florida spent $17.1 million to hire the Zimmerman agency, to help fight smoking.
The agency is using radio commercials, television ads, and billboards to advertise the QuitLine, 1-877-U-CAN-NOW.
The system called "Qwitter" helps smokers keep track on how many cigarettes the smoke each day. It also lets them see their progress over time and provides a tool to keep a journal.
If you make less than $45,000 a year you can call the number to get eight weeks of free nicotine patches, lozenges or gum. People who make more than $45,000 can get four weeks' free.
