Armed Man Robs, Rapes 19-Year-Old Woman
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
An armed man raped and robbed a 19-year-old woman in her home early Friday and then fled.
Miami-Dade police are now asking for the public's help to find the perpetrator. The incident occurred at 4 a.m. He awoke the victim by lying on top of her. The man then struck her numerous times and sexually assaulted her. Before leaving, he robbed her.
People in the neighborhood of Northwest 6th Avenue and 95th Street are asked to keep their doors and windows locked and to report any suspicious activity to police.
The man is believed to be between 18 and 25. He is about 5' 7'' tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has a Jamaican accent and was wearing a dark colored T-shirt, dark shorts, long black socks, black sneakers and a grey hooded sweatshirt with a nylon cap on his head. He also sported tattoos on both forearms.
